Fujifilm X-H1 Body only 24MP X-Trans CMOS III In-Body IS (SKU FU-XH1B)

The FUJIFILM X-H1 is built for demanding photo and video work, combining a rugged magnesium-alloy body with pro-level imaging and movie features. It uses a 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and the X-Processor Pro engine to deliver fast, low-noise results up to ISO 51200. A five-axis in-body image stabilization system (IBIS) helps recover up to about 5.5 stops of shutter speed, making sharp handheld shooting easier in low light.

Video capabilities
The X-H1 records DCI 4K (4096 × 2160) internally at 24 fps with an internal bitrate up to 200 Mb/s. Full HD slow-motion is available at up to 120 fps. The camera supports internal F-Log recording to SD cards for a flat image that’s easier to grade, and it includes an ETERNA film simulation for cinematic color and shadow rendering. Audio options include a built-in 24-bit/48 kHz microphone and a 3.5 mm mic input for external microphones.

Ergonomics and controls
The camera body has been refined for professional use: a larger hand grip, enlarged back buttons, an AF-ON button, and a top-right info display. Weather sealing and a hardened magnesium alloy shell improve durability and allow operation in challenging environments. A three-way tilting 3.0" touchscreen LCD (1.04M dots) offers flexible viewing angles, while a 1.28" sub-LCD on the top plate provides quick access to shooting settings. Flicker reduction helps stabilize exposures under problematic lighting such as fluorescent sources.

Sensor and processing

• 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor: The randomized X-Trans pixel array removes the need for an optical low-pass filter, improving sharpness and color rendering while reducing moiré and false color.

• X-Processor Pro: Enables fast start-up (about 0.4 s), strong high-ISO performance, and rapid continuous shooting — up to 14 fps with the electronic shutter and up to 8 fps with the mechanical shutter (depending on settings).

Image stabilization
A 5-axis sensor-shift IBIS system stabilizes the image with most FUJIFILM XF and XC lenses and is rated for up to approximately 5.5 stops of compensation (lens dependent). Using the electronic shutter can further reduce vibration and take fuller advantage of the stabilization system.

Autofocus
The intelligent hybrid AF system uses both phase- and contrast-detection with 325 total points for accurate focusing. Improvements to the AF algorithm extend reliable focusing down to smaller apertures (expanded minimum aperture support from f/8 to f/11), and AF-C behavior has been refined for zoom and tracking performance.

Viewfinder and monitor

• Electronic viewfinder (EVF): 0.5" panel, 3.69M-dot resolution, about 0.75x magnification, 100 fps refresh, and very low display lag (~0.005 s) for smooth composition.

• Rear LCD: 3.0" tilting touchscreen with three-way tilt and 1.04M-dot resolution, convenient for odd angles and portrait-orientation shooting.

Body design and controls

• 25% thicker magnesium-alloy shell for enhanced durability and weather resistance; rated to operate in colder conditions (down to about 14°F).

• Top-plate locking dials and levers for fast, intuitive exposure control. The shutter-speed dial includes mechanical speeds up to 1/8000 s plus bulb/time modes; an ISO setting is integrated for quick confirmation.

• Exposure compensation dial (+/−3 EV standard; can extend to +/−5 EV using command dial).

• Front and rear command dials (with push functions), six assignable function buttons, and a dedicated focus lever for fast point selection.

Film simulation and grain
Built-in Film Simulation modes recreate classic Fujifilm film looks. ETERNA is included for cinematic, desaturated colors and rich shadows. A Grain Effect mode adds organic, film-like texture for a classic photographic feel, particularly noticeable in prints.

Optional Vertical Power Booster Grip (VPB-XH1)
Adding the VPB-XH1 unlocks extra features: it holds up to two additional NP-W126S batteries, increasing shot capacity and enabling Boost mode for faster burst rates and reduced shutter lag. The grip extends maximum continuous recording to about 30 minutes in 4K and provides vertical shooting controls (shutter release, command dial, focus lever, AE-L, AF-ON, Q, Fn). It also includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio monitoring and supports simultaneous charging of two batteries with the included AC adapter.
