Video Features

• Versatile and cinematic
  The Z5 II offers vibrant color, precise autofocus, and a variety of frame rates. Record detailed footage in 4K/30p or step up to 4K/60p (with a crop). For ultra-smooth slow motion, shoot in Full HD at 120p.

• N-RAW recording to SD card
  The Z5 II is the first Z-series camera to support N-RAW recording directly onto an SD card. You can work in RAW video without needing an external recorder or the most expensive media.

• N-Log for grading
  If you plan to color-grade, you can capture video in N-Log. Its wide dynamic range preserves more highlight and shadow detail, giving you extra flexibility in post-production.

• Hi-Res Zoom
  Hi-Res Zoom lets you effectively double the reach of your lens (up to 2×) when recording Full HD video, with no visible loss of image quality. It works with both prime and zoom lenses and allows smooth reframing while filming.

Additional Information

1. AF sensitivity is measured in Photo mode, using AF-S with the center focus point, at ISO 100 and 20 °C / 68 °F with an f/1.2 lens.

2. High-speed shooting up to 30 fps in [C30] High-Speed Frame Capture+. JPEG only, fixed to JPEG Normal. Electronic shutter may introduce rolling-shutter distortion depending on subject and movement.

3. Up to 7.5 stops of VR at the center and 6.0 stops at the edges, based on CIPA 2024 standards, with the NIKKOR Z 24–120mm f/4 S at the telephoto end in NORMAL mode.

4. Focus Point VR is available in Photo mode with a NIKKOR Z lens that has no built-in VR; it does not function when multiple focus points are shown.
