DJI Matrice 4E Drone

Introducing the DJI Matrice 4E, an intelligent and compact drone from DJI’s flagship Enterprise series. This model features a built-in RTK module and is equipped with advanced functions and measurement systems designed for complex operational scenarios.

AI-Powered Intelligent Operations

The integrated AI model can detect vehicles, vessels, and objects during search and rescue missions or routine flights. It also supports switching to other AI models, enabling a wider range of AI application scenarios. In addition, it enables high-resolution grid photography and offers advanced tracking features.

Laser Rangefinder and Measurement Precision

The laser rangefinder enables precise real-time measurements. With simple actions such as point marking, line drawing, and area calculation, it can support tasks like marking target locations for inspections or calculating the size of a fire area. Users can also share information via QR codes in DJI Pilot or FlightHub 2 to improve cooperation and increase work efficiency.

Recorded Observation Range

DJI Pilot 2 can mark the center position of the camera frame and the observed ground area. It allows the surveyed area to be displayed on a map, making it especially useful during patrols and rescue operations in mountainous terrain without clear landmarks.

Efficient Flight and Accurate Operations

The drone supports intelligent features such as:

  • Cruise: Enables automatic drone flight in a selected direction without continuously holding the control sticks, making long-distance flights easier.

  • FlyTo: In emergencies, the drone automatically adjusts its route and flight speed to the environment to reach a designated location without manual corrections.

  • Smart Track: Allows precise object tracking and automatic zoom adjustment, making it easy to switch tracked targets even if they are temporarily obstructed.

  • POI (Point of Interest): Enables continuous observation and 3D modeling of buildings by flying around a selected area, improving efficiency in observation and modeling tasks.

Low-Light Fisheye Omnidirectional Detection

The Matrice 4 series is equipped with six high-resolution fisheye vision sensors optimized for low-light operation. This significantly enhances visual positioning and obstacle avoidance in poor lighting. It enables automatic obstacle avoidance, intelligent route changes, and safe return in low-light urban environments.

Upgraded Medium Telephoto Camera

The Matrice 4 series includes a medium tele camera that expands its capabilities for mid-range inspection tasks. During inspections of power lines or bridges, it can detect bolts and cracks from 10 meters away and clearly read instrument data in substations.

High-Resolution Telephoto Camera

The tele camera in the Matrice 4 series delivers significantly improved clarity, offering 48 MP resolution capable of capturing remarkable details of signs from distances of up to 250 meters.

Foreground Stabilization for Telephoto

Enhanced telephoto stabilization keeps foreground objects stable and sharp when shooting with 10× zoom or higher. In public safety and inspection scenarios, object details remain clearly visible.

Electronic Dehazing

In conditions such as smog or atmospheric humidity, the Electronic Dehazing function offers three modes (Low, Medium, High) to improve image clarity and adapt to different operating environments and requirements.

Fast 0.5-Second Interval Photography

The Matrice 4E wide-angle camera supports fast photography with a 0.5-second interval in both orthophoto and oblique modes, enabling rapid aerial surveying from multiple angles. Mapping flight speed can reach up to 21 meters per second.

Five-Direction Oblique Photography

The Matrice 4 series supports new five-direction oblique capture. The gimbal can intelligently rotate and capture images from multiple angles based on the survey area, achieving multi-angle results in a single flight.

Three-Direction Orthophoto Capture

The Matrice 4E supports three-direction orthophoto capture, enabling side capture during orthophoto collection missions and reducing side overlap. A single flight can perform mapping operations for an area of up to 2.8 km².

Smart 3D Capture

DJI Matrice 4E supports Smart 3D Capture, allowing data capture and creation of a preliminary model directly on the remote controller screen.

Positioning System Fusion

The Matrice 4 series features an integrated DJI RTK module that supports the extended L5 frequency band and includes a GNSS + Vision Fusion positioning and navigation system. This enables the home point to be updated through visual positioning and allows quick takeoff within 15 seconds. Even without GNSS signals, it can complete the Return-to-Home process, effectively overcoming obstacles and signal interference commonly found in urban environments.

Intelligent Guidance

When the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller is connected to the internet, it can load terrain elevation data and pre-load detailed maps. This enables automatic path planning to avoid obstacles and effectively supports scenarios such as night flights or operations over mountainous areas, improving flight safety.

A New Level of Video Transmission

Enhanced image transmission provides a download bandwidth of up to 20 MB/s, more than twice the bandwidth of the Mavic 3 Enterprise series.

Gimbal-Following Spotlight

The optional DJI AL1 spotlight can illuminate objects up to 100 meters away and includes two modes: Always-On and Strobe. It can link with the gimbal to follow camera movement and provide lighting aligned with the camera’s view.

Audio Broadcasting System

The optional DJI AS1 speaker offers strong audio output and long range. It has a broadcast range of up to 300 meters and can reach up to 114 dB at 1 meter. It supports recorded messages, media import, and text-to-speech conversion. It also provides real-time broadcasting and echo suppression.

New D-RTK 3 Station

The optional D-RTK 3 station can serve as a base station to provide positioning accuracy down to 1 cm for multiple drones simultaneously, or it can extend drone operational range in relay station mode.
