The Tron SART20 is a GMDSS 9GHz search and rescue radar transponder that meets IMO, SOLAS, and GMDSS requirements, and is approved by both MED and FCC authorities.

Both the Tron SART20 and the Tron AIS-SART are approved as search and rescue locating devices according to the IMO SOLAS Amendment in Resolution MSC.256(84). This allows ship owners to choose either device to fulfill the requirements of SOLAS Chapter III, Regulation 2.2.
