Jotron eLearning EPIRB, SBM – All Models Except AIS (200016)
This advanced eLearning course covers Jotron EPIRBs and focuses on IMO requirements related to Shore-Based Maintenance (SBM), including battery replacement procedures and testing in accordance with IMO MSC/Circ. 1039 and Jotron’s own requirements.
Participants will gain an understanding of IMO regulations for SBM and learn how to carry out Shore-Based Maintenance on Jotron products in line with both IMO and company standards.
After successfully completing the training and receiving SBM qualification approval from Jotron, customers must apply separately for additional authorization from the VDR manufacturer in order to perform SBM on Tron 40VDR units.
