Unmatched Sensitivity and Performance
At the core of the ASI290MM Mini is the powerful Sony IMX290LQR sensor, a 2.1 MP monochrome sensor celebrated for its low power consumption and efficient heat management. With a minimal readout noise of just 1 e-, it is capable of delivering stunning imagery even with passive cooling.
The sensor is protected by an anti-reflective (AR) coating, which enhances its performance, especially when paired with an IR-Pass filter. Encased in a lightweight and compact aluminum body, finished with ZWO's signature red, the ASI290MM Mini balances style with functionality.
