Description

The ZWO 7 x 2" filter wheel is an upgraded version of the ZWO 5 x 2" wheel designed to accommodate seven 2" or 50.4 ± 0.5 mm filters.

Controlling the filter wheel is a breeze with the ASCOM-compatible software. You can connect the wheel to your computer or directly to the USB ports on your camera using a USB 2.0 cable. The filter wheel features a sleek black casing made from high-quality aluminum alloy commonly used in aviation, crafted using CNC technology. At the heart of the wheel is a stepper motor manufactured by the renowned Japanese company NPM.

One of the standout features of this product is its minimal distance between the filter and the camera sensor, ensuring the avoidance of vignetting even when using high-intensity telescopes.

Before purchasing a filter wheel, it's important to check the required back focus length of your camera. You can find examples of how to connect the filter wheel on the manufacturer's website at astronomy-imaging-camera.com/tutorials/best-back-focus-length-solutions-55mm.html.

Key Features of the ZWO 7 x 2" Filter Wheel:

Lightweight construction weighing only 650 g, entirely made from aviation-grade aluminum alloy.
