Bright, High-Contrast Optics
The fully multi-coated doublet lenses deliver crisp and detailed images. With a 100 mm aperture, the Nightstar gathers ample light, producing bright views even at dusk. This makes it suitable not only for astronomy but also for observing wildlife in low-light conditions.
Flexible Eyepiece Options
The binoculars include two pairs of eyepieces, offering 20x and 40x magnification. You can also use other standard 1.25-inch astronomical eyepieces to adjust magnification or expand the field of view.
Magnification is calculated as 560 divided by the eyepiece focal length in millimetres. For example, a 12 mm eyepiece provides approximately 46x magnification (560 ÷ 12 = 46.6). A practical upper limit is around 100x magnification.
Finder Scope Bracket
A built-in bracket allows you to attach a red dot finder or optical finder scope. This makes locating celestial objects faster and easier.
Extendable Dew Shield
The retractable dew shield helps protect the lenses from moisture and reduces stray light, improving contrast and visibility.
Portable and Practical Design
The Nightstar features a central carrying handle for convenient transport and tripod placement. It can be easily moved and stored in the included transport case.
