Description

Celestron brings you a new line of beginner telescopes with the PowerSeeker series, offering exceptional value for budding astronomers. These telescopes are perfect for diving into one of the oldest and most enjoyable hobbies – stargazing. An inspiring gift for any student who has always been fascinated by the wonders of the night sky.

Even the smallest PowerSeeker instrument, with its 50mm aperture, unlocks a realm of discovery. It reveals intricate details of lunar craters, the four largest moons of Jupiter, and the magnificent rings of Saturn. Dive into deep space and marvel at celestial treasures like the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy. As aperture size increases, so does the telescope's performance. With a 114mm or even 127mm diameter, the PowerSeeker becomes your gateway to more advanced amateur astronomy, unveiling finer details such as cloud bands on Jupiter, surface features on Mars, and distant galaxies and planetary nebulae.

The Celestron CG-1 mount:

This equatorial mount accommodates telescopes weighing up to approximately 3kg. Setting circles on both axes allow precise manual adjustments with flexible slow-motion controls. While the declination axis is slightly less robust than the right ascension axis, it still offers quality fine adjustment. The fully assembled tripod, featuring aluminium legs, provides a stable and vibration-free platform for your telescope. An accessory tray keeps essential tools within reach. An automatic tracking motor can be added to the right ascension axis, included with the MD models.
