Description

Polaris - Affordable Telescopes with a Complete Range of Accessories, Ideal for Beginners!

Meade's Polaris telescope series offers compact yet powerful telescopes mounted on an equatorial mount at an incredibly reasonable price. With the mount aligned to the Pole Star, adjusting the telescope to track the night sky becomes a breeze, requiring movement along only one axis. This tracking can be easily managed manually using the slow-motion controls provided or optionally with a small motor.

Each Polaris telescope comes equipped with a sturdy steel tube tripod to ensure optimal stability during observations.

Introducing the N 114/1000 Telescope:

This classical Newtonian telescope boasts a 114mm aperture in a compact package, making it an excellent choice for beginners. Its ease of transport and user-friendly design require no specialized training to operate. With this telescope, you'll marvel at the rings of Saturn and the cloud bands and moons of Jupiter, resembling a miniature planetary system. Additionally, you can explore brighter nebulae and star-forming regions like the Orion Nebula. Embark on a journey of discovery with the N 114/1000!

As an added bonus, each telescope includes the AutoStar Suite® Astronomer Edition software on DVD. Compatible with Windows operating systems, this software provides information on over 10,000 astronomical objects, assists in planning observations, and enables the printing of star charts.
