Baader Filters OIII CMOS f/2 Highspeed 50.4mm

OIII filters exclusively permit light with a wavelength of 501 nanometers to pass through. This wavelength corresponds to the spectrum lines of doubly ionized oxygen, emitted by planetary nebulae and some emission nebulae. By selectively allowing only this specific light to pass, these filters enhance contrast, making faint nebulae visible for the first time while blocking out other wavelengths.

Astrophotography: These filters are most effective when used with monochrome cameras. Ideally, images captured using these filters should be combined with those taken using H-alpha and SII filters. This combination creates images that depict faint nebulae clearly and with high contrast.
