Description

The MaxFR series is specifically optimized for astrophotography with very fast telescopes, such as the Celestron RASA systems or Takahashi's Epsilon astrographs. These filters are tailored to meet the demands of high-speed optical systems, ensuring exceptional performance for capturing deep-sky objects.

This series focuses on three critical emission lines in astrophotography: OIII, H-alpha, and SII. Each filter is available with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 12nm or 6nm, allowing astrophotographers to isolate specific wavelengths for enhanced contrast and detail in images. These filters are particularly effective in reducing the effects of light pollution, making them ideal for imaging nebulae and galaxies.

Applications and Features

The MaxFR filters are designed for astrophotography and excel in isolating emission lines for nebulae and galaxies. They are highly effective in combating light pollution but are not intended for visual observation. These filters are unsuitable for viewing twin stars, the Moon, or planets.

As part of the MaxFR line, these filters are engineered with durable aluminum mounts and precise MRF coatings to ensure reliable performance. They provide astrophotographers with the tools needed to capture high-quality images when using fast telescopes.
