Description

The MaxFR series is specifically designed for astrophotography with very fast telescopes, such as Celestron RASA systems or Takahashi's Epsilon astrographs. These filters are optimized to deliver outstanding performance with fast optical systems, ensuring high-contrast and detailed imaging of deep-sky objects.

This series includes narrowband filters for the three critical emission lines in astrophotography: OIII, H-alpha, and SII. With a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 12nm or 6nm, these filters allow precise isolation of specific wavelengths, enhancing contrast while minimizing interference from unwanted light sources.

Applications and Features

The MaxFR filters are highly effective for astrophotography, particularly for capturing nebulae and galaxies. They are specifically designed to reduce light pollution but are not suitable for visual observation or imaging twin stars, the Moon, or planets. As part of the MaxFR line, these filters feature robust aluminum mounts and advanced MRF coatings to ensure reliable performance. Their precision and compatibility make them an excellent choice for astrophotographers using fast telescopes.
