Maksutov Telescopes

Despite their compact design, Maksutov telescopes feature a long focal length. While their field of view is narrower compared to achromatic refractor telescopes, this makes them particularly suited for observing the Moon and planets. When combined with an Amici prism, they are also excellent for nature observation and photography.

The Bresser EXOS-2 Mounting
The EXOS-2 is a robust equatorial mount with a high load capacity (up to 12 kg for visual use and 10 kg for astrophotography). It provides precise tracking for both visual observations and astrophotography. Double radial ball bearings ensure smooth operation, while optimized RA axes reduce play. This durable mount is ideal for beginners entering astrophotography. An optional motorized two-axis control can also be added to enhance functionality.

GoTo System for Effortless Object Tracking
The GoTo system for the EXOS-2 mount simplifies locating celestial objects, even for beginners. By pressing a button, the system automatically moves the telescope to your selected planet, nebula, or galaxy and tracks it continuously. The database contains over 100,000 celestial objects, enabling you to observe or photograph faint objects without lengthy searches or complex manual alignment.
