With its very low power consumption—less than 2 watts—the Solo is energy efficient and can be powered directly from your existing CloudWatcher power supply. The integrated web server allows you to access real-time weather data from your observatory anywhere in the world.

Installation steps:

  • Disconnect the AAG’s RS232 from your PC and connect it to the Solo

  • Remove power from the AAG CloudWatcher and use the same cable to power the Solo

  • Use the included male-to-male cable to connect the Solo to the AAG CloudWatcher

  • Connect the Solo to your network with a standard RJ45 cable (not supplied)

Note:
The Solo should be installed indoors, as it is not designed to withstand outdoor conditions like the CloudWatcher itself.
