Lunt Solar Systems Filters LS50C double-stack filter (44942)

The Lunt Solar Systems LS50C double-stack filter is a compact accessory designed specifically for the LS50THa H-alpha solar telescope. This filter allows you to upgrade your single-stack LS50THa to a double-stack system, significantly increasing the level of detail and contrast visible on the Sun’s surface. By reducing the bandwidth to less than 0.55 Angstrom, the LS50C makes finer solar features—such as prominences, filaments, and surface granulation—much more apparent. The filter is easy to install, screwing directly onto the front of the LS50THa, and uses mechanical tilt-tuning for precise adjustment. Please note that the LS50C cannot be used on its own and must always be combined with a blocking filter and the LS50THa telescope.
