MAGUS Camera CHD10 CMOS Color 1/2.8 2MP HDMI (83161)

The MAGUS CHD10 is an entry-level HDMI camera designed for use with microscopes, making it easy to capture high-quality photographs and videos of your observations. With the ability to record Full HD video at 60 frames per second, this camera ensures smooth, detailed images without distortion, even when viewing moving specimens. The live image can be displayed on a screen in real time, and all photos and videos can be saved directly to an SD card. The camera is ready for standalone operation but also supports connection to additional devices for expanded functionality.

Software
The MAGUS CHD10 comes with its own software, allowing you to capture images and videos in Full HD (1920x1080px), display them on a monitor, process images, and perform measurements of linear and angular dimensions. For accurate measurements, the software requires calibration for each objective using a calibration slide.

Sensor
This camera features a SONY Starvis color CMOS sensor, sized at 1/2.8" with a pixel size of 2.9x2.9μm. The sensor uses back-illumination technology for excellent performance in low-light conditions, with a light sensitivity of 1300mV at 1/30 second. For optimal results and minimal distortion, use an adapter with a magnification between 0.35x and 0.6x.

Mounting on a Microscope
To use the camera, insert the MAGUS CHD10 into the microscope's eyepiece tube in place of an eyepiece, using a C-mount adapter and an adapter ring to fit the tube diameter. Alternatively, it can be mounted in a trinocular tube with a C-mount adapter.
