Moravian External Filter Wheel EFW-3S-7-II (64732)

The Moravian External Filter Wheel EFW-3S-7-II is designed for use with G2 and G3 series cameras. It features seven filter positions, compatible with both standard 2-inch threaded filters and unmounted filters with a 50 mm diameter. The wheel is intended for use with "S" size Mark II adapters and is an excellent choice for astrophotography setups that require multiple filters.

Compatibility and Operation:
This filter wheel connects directly to the camera head using a single short 8-wire cable. There is no need for a separate USB or serial cable, and no external power supply is required. The control electronics are built into the camera, allowing the filter wheel to be operated through standard camera control software. Both internal and external filter wheels are controlled in the same way by software such as SIPS, MaxIm DL, AstroArt, and any ASCOM-compatible programs. If the camera is connected via Ethernet, the filter wheel can also be controlled using the TCP/IP protocol.

To change filters, gently pull and slide the wheel out, and reverse the process to reinstall.
