Microscope Stand
The AE2000 comes with either a binocular or trinocular stand, both featuring a compact design that fits easily into any laboratory. Its sturdy build ensures long-term durability, even under frequent use. The controls for focusing and illumination are conveniently positioned for comfortable, extended operation.

Eyepiece Tubes
Each eyepiece tube allows for 360° rotation and can be adjusted for interpupillary distances between 48 and 75 mm. The "Butterfly mode" raises the viewing height by 40 mm, and all tubes are set at a comfortable 45° angle with a 20 mm field of view.

Eyepieces
The AE2000 uses Motic’s Infinity Corrected CCIS optical system, providing a flat field of view of 20 mm. The eyepieces are designed with a high eye point for clear, sharp images and reduced eye fatigue.

Objectives
The microscope features an upgraded series of Plan Achromatic lenses within the CCIS Infinity Optical system, covering bright field and phase contrast magnifications of 4X, 10X, 20X, and 40X. A specially designed 4X phase objective is included for quick overview and screening.

Stage
The stage is positioned low for ergonomic viewing and easy access. It has a hard-coated surface for simple cleaning and comes with both glass and metal inserts. An optional mechanical stage can accommodate various cell culture vessels and standard glass slides.

Condenser
A dovetail mount allows for quick changes between condensers. One phase ring set covers both condensers for flexibility. Removing the condenser provides a maximum free working distance of 184 mm.

Illumination
The AE2000 offers bright and even illumination, available in both halogen and LED versions. The standard package includes a 6V/30W halogen lamp, which can be easily replaced with an LED module for cooler operation. A built-in IR motion sensor automatically turns off the microscope after 15 minutes of inactivity for safety and energy savings.
