Microscope Stand
The AE2000 is available with either a binocular or trinocular stand, both featuring a compact footprint to fit easily into any laboratory, even where space is limited. Its sturdy build ensures long-term durability, and the conveniently placed focusing and illumination controls allow for comfortable, extended use.

Eyepiece Tubes
Each eyepiece tube can swivel 360° and allows for interpupillary distance adjustment between 48 and 75 mm. The "Butterfly mode" increases the viewing height by 40 mm, and all tubes are set at a comfortable 45° viewing angle with a 20 mm field of view.

Eyepieces
The AE2000 features widefield, high eyepoint eyepieces (N-WF10X/20 mm) with diopter adjustment on both sides and rubber eyecups. The optical system ensures a flat 20 mm field of view, delivering sharp and color-accurate images while minimizing eye fatigue.

Objectives
This microscope includes a fully upgraded range of Plan Achromatic lenses within the CCIS Infinity Optical concept, offering magnifications of 4X, 10X, 20X, and 40X for both bright field and phase contrast. A specially designed 4X phase objective is included for rapid overview and screening.

Stage
The stage is positioned low for ergonomic viewing and easy access. It features a hard-coated surface for easy cleaning and comes with both glass and metal inserts. An optional mechanical stage is available for various cell culture vessels and standard glass slides.

Condenser
The condenser is mounted with a dovetail system for quick changes. A single phase ring set covers both condensers, providing maximum flexibility. Removing the condenser increases the free working distance to 184 mm.

Illumination
The AE2000 provides bright, even illumination using either a 6V/30W halogen lamp or an interchangeable LED module. The LED option offers cooler operation, which is important for live cell studies. A built-in IR motion sensor automatically switches off the microscope after 15 minutes of inactivity for safety and energy efficiency.
