The AE2000 series is Motic’s entry-level range of inverted microscopes, designed to provide excellent image quality and long-lasting durability even in demanding laboratory environments. This model is ideal for routine microbiology in clinical and pharmaceutical labs, as well as for university teaching. The AE2000 features Motic’s CCIS® Infinity Optical System and LWD Plan Achromatic objectives, delivering outstanding bright field and phase contrast imaging. Every standard package includes 10X and 20X phase contrast objectives, with an optional 4X phase objective for rapid screening and an available 40X phase objective for higher magnification. The stand is equipped with a quadruple nosepiece featuring precise click stops for easy objective changes. Illumination is provided by a powerful 30W halogen light source in a Fixed-Koehler setup, which can be easily swapped for a 3W LED module in different color temperatures. An automatic ON/OFF function, controlled by a built-in IR sensor, turns off the microscope when not in use, saving energy and extending lamp life. The AE2000 is manufactured according to European RoHS standards, avoiding lead-containing materials, and all components are treated with an anti-fungus coating for protection in humid environments.
