Description
The AE2000-MET is an inverted metallurgical microscope designed specifically for industrial inspection of large, opaque samples. It is ideal for examining heavy specimens from industries such as automotive manufacturing, where the sample remains stationary and focusing is achieved through the 5-position nosepiece. The smooth operation of the 3-plate stage ensures precise positioning of the sample during observation.
A key feature of this microscope is its complete set of LM Plan Achromatic objectives, which provide outstanding image quality with high contrast and resolution in both bright field and dark field applications. All bright field objectives from the BA310-MET series are fully compatible and maintain excellent optical performance with this system. The powerful 50W halogen light source delivers ample illumination for demanding techniques such as dark field and polarized light (POL) contrast. An automatic “AUTO-OFF” function is included, turning off the illumination after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy and extend lamp life.
The AE2000-MET is built to high manufacturing standards, ensuring a long service life even under the demanding conditions of industrial environments.
