The BA310MET series offers a reliable and affordable range of metallurgical microscopes designed for incident light applications. They also perform exceptionally well in educational settings for engineering and materials science, where both affordability and user-friendly operation are essential.

To meet the needs of daily industrial environments, the BA310MET is engineered for ease of use and efficiency. The Epi-Illuminator features a powerful 12V/50W halogen light source, which can be easily swapped for an LED module with different color temperatures (4500K or 6000K) to suit various applications. The built-in field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm reduce stray light and enhance contrast for optimal image quality. Motic’s Long-Working Distance LM Plan objectives, with multi-layer coatings, deliver high contrast and clarity. The fully corrected tube lens ensures intermediate images are free from color fringes, and the trinocular port allows for crisp digital imaging. The design also includes a standardized ISO photo exit. Depending on your needs, models are available with hard-coated, chemical-resistant stages in various sizes and travel ranges, including options for transmitted light and handling larger samples.

Objectives
The BA310MET series features a new generation of LM Plan Achromatic objectives made from high-quality glass, following the CCIS® Optical concept. Multi-layer coatings enhance contrast and image quality. The reversed, ball-bearing 5-position nosepiece ensures precise alignment and repeatability at every magnification. For advanced resolution, EC-M Plan objectives are available as options.
