Nikon zoom stereo microscope SMZ1270, trino, ERGO, 0.63x-8x, FN22, W.D.70mm, P-PS32 (65713)

The SMZ1270/1270i stereo microscope is designed to deliver exceptional sharpness and clarity across a broad magnification range. With a class-leading zoom ratio of 12.7x (0.63x to 8x), it enables both wide-field, low-magnification observation-such as viewing an entire 35 mm petri dish-and high-magnification examination of fine details like cell structures. Advanced apochromat optics provide high-level chromatic aberration correction, resulting in crisp, color-accurate images without blur or color fringing.

Description

The SMZ1270/1270i stereo microscope is designed to deliver exceptional sharpness and clarity across a broad magnification range. With a class-leading zoom ratio of 12.7x (0.63x to 8x), it enables both wide-field, low-magnification observation-such as viewing an entire 35 mm petri dish-and high-magnification examination of fine details like cell structures. Advanced apochromat optics provide high-level chromatic aberration correction, resulting in crisp, color-accurate images without blur or color fringing. The SMZ1270i model includes intelligent features for automatic detection of magnification and objective data, ensuring precise calibration and measurement during imaging.

Key Features

  • Highest-in-class zoom ratio of 12.7x (0.63x to 8x), supporting a wide range of observation needs

  • Wide field of view at low magnification for easy target confirmation

  • Apochromat optics for superior chromatic aberration correction and sharp, clear images

  • Newly developed WF series objectives provide bright, uniform images even at low magnification; a 0.75x objective expands low-magnification options

  • Intelligent status readout in the SMZ1270i, compatible with DS-L4 Camera Control Unit and NIS-Elements software, automatically detects and calibrates magnification and objective data

  • Double nosepiece enables on-axis imaging, accurate measurements, and extended depth-of-focus (EDF) imaging without distortion

  • Ergonomic design with adjustable eyepiece tubes for personalized comfort and slim stands for easy specimen handling

  • Expandable with a wide range of accessories, including trinocular tubes and slim-type LED diascopic illumination stands, to suit various research and inspection requirements

  • OCC illumination enhances contrast for transparent samples
