Description

The Nikon SMZ445 and SMZ460 stereo zoom microscopes provide premium optical performance in a compact and lightweight design. The SMZ445 features a zoom range of 0.8x to 3.5x, while the SMZ460 offers a zoom range of 0.7x to 3.0x. Both microscopes are equipped with a diascopic/episcopic LED stand, enabling observation of a wide variety of specimens, including Petri dishes, plants, insects, small animals, and minerals.

Outstanding Optical Performance
High-quality images with excellent flatness are achieved through Nikon’s advanced optical design and multi-coated lenses. The Greenough optical system ensures a true erect image and provides clear, bright, and high-contrast visuals.

Long Working Distance
A working distance of 100 mm allows for safe and convenient focusing, even with uneven specimens. This is especially helpful when using tweezers, dissection tools, or pipettes.

Eyepiece Lenses
Dedicated eyepiece lenses with diopter adjustments ensure parfocality. Using 20x eyepiece lenses with the SMZ445 enables observation at up to 70x magnification. Rubber eyecups are available for the 10x eyepiece lenses for added comfort.

Auxiliary Objectives
Attaching an auxiliary objective lens allows for a wider field of view and longer working distance. Two types are available: 0.5x (working distance 181 mm) and 0.7x (working distance 127.5 mm).

Mold-Resistant Finish
The inside of the zoom body is treated with a mold-resistant finish to maintain lens quality, even in hot and humid environments.
