Superior Basic Performance
The SMZ800N features a wide zoom ratio of 8:1 (1x to 8x), enabling high-resolution observation up to 640 line pairs per millimeter (using ED Plan Apo 2x/WF at maximum zoom). Semi-Apochromat optics are incorporated in the zoom body to provide chromatic aberration correction throughout the viewfield.

Diverse Objective Options
A broad selection of newly developed objectives is available, offering various magnifications and working distances. The Plan Apo WF series delivers high numerical aperture, high resolution, wide viewfields, excellent image flatness, and superior chromatic aberration correction. A 0.75x objective is also available for low-magnification needs.

On-Axis Observation with Double Nosepiece
The double nosepiece allows for easy on-axis imaging, making it possible to observe the bottom of holes, perform simple and accurate measurements, and achieve extended depth-of-focus (EDF) imaging without distortion.

Ergonomic Design
Eyepiece tubes with adjustable inclination angles are available to ensure comfortable observation for every user. Slim-type plain stands and the LED Diascopic Illumination Stand make specimen presentation and removal easy.
