Description

The Omegon MightyMak is a compact Maksutov telescope designed for both astronomy and nature observation. Its lightweight and portable construction makes it ideal for observing the Moon, planets, landscapes, trees, and wildlife wherever you go. Main Features

  • Compact telescope with upright image, suitable for both celestial and terrestrial viewing

  • Coated front lens element reduces reflections for clearer images

  • Elegant glossy black design with gold accents

  • T-2 thread with buffer ring for secure camera attachment

  • Finder shoe for connecting your preferred finder scope

  • GP prism rail fits standard tripods and all mounts with GP profile

  • Includes table-top tripod, 1.25" eyepiece, 90° star diagonal, red dot finder, and carrying bag

Versatile Observing

The MightyMak provides sharp, high-contrast images whether you are observing wildlife or celestial objects like Jupiter’s moons, Saturn’s rings, or details on the Moon. The coated Maksutov optics ensure bright images and a wide field of view, thanks to its slightly shorter focal length compared to similar models.

Telephoto Lens Functionality

The T-2 thread allows you to use the MightyMak as a telephoto lens for your camera. With the addition of a T-Ring, you can easily connect your camera and capture distant subjects, while the buffer ring ensures a smooth, secure fit.

Finder Shoe and Mounting Options

The standard finder shoe is compatible with most finder scopes, allowing you to choose between a red dot or optical finder. The GP-style prism rail allows easy attachment to any astronomical mount with a GP profile or to a tripod using standard photo threads.

Eyepiece Compatibility and Gentle Clamping

The 1.25" connection accepts any standard eyepiece, and a compression ring gently but securely holds the eyepiece in place for comfortable viewing and optimal magnification.

Complete Starter Package

Everything you need is included: table-top tripod, 1.25" eyepiece, 90° star diagonal, red dot finder, and a carrying bag, so you can start observing right away.
