Design and Optical Performance

This scope is designed and manufactured in Japan, featuring a new compact HDF ED optical system. The 60mm model measures 260mm in length. Made from lightweight materials, the MM4 weighs about the same as a pair of 42mm binoculars, allowing for easy handheld use and stable, clear viewing at magnifications below 20x. Unlike binoculars, the MM4 delivers exceptional clarity and detail up to 45x (60mm) when paired with HDF T or SDLv2 zoom eyepieces. It is compatible with HR, HDF, and SDL eyepieces, so current fieldscope owners can use their existing eyepieces with the MM4 body.

Durability and Practical Features

The MM4 is nitrogen-filled and fully rubber-armored, providing protection against knocks and bumps. It comes with a tripod adapter that allows for +/- 90-degree rotation, making it quick and easy to set up in a hide or from a sitting or prone position.
