PrimaLuceLab plate PLUS Losmandy SC 8 (69951)

This plate is part of the PLUS system by PrimaLuceLab, which includes a wide range of plates, support rings, guide rings, and dovetail clamps. The system is designed to give you maximum flexibility in building your mechanical support setup, tailored to your specific application. All PLUS components feature threaded holes, standard holes, and slots, making it easy to connect different elements with maximum rigidity and convenience.

The unique design of this plate allows it to be used in several ways:

• It can be positioned below the support rings to mount the telescope onto an equatorial or alt-azimuth mount.

• It can be installed above the support rings to increase the mechanical rigidity of the entire telescope and to attach additional accessories such as dovetail clamps with guide rings, which help precisely adjust the position of a guide telescope.

• It can serve as a base to create a side-by-side plate, allowing you to mount two telescopes in parallel on a single mount using two PLUS dovetail clamps.

The PLUS system is also compatible with mechanical accessories from other brands, so you can integrate it into your existing setup.

Like all PLUS series elements, this plate is manufactured with high mechanical precision using CNC-machined aluminum blocks. It is designed for easy installation of other mechanical components such as support rings, plates, or dovetail clamps.

This kit includes a 350mm PLUS Losmandy-style dovetail plate and PLUS curved blocks. It can be mounted either below (to connect a Losmandy-type dovetail bar under the telescope) or above (to support a parallel telescope) Celestron C8 or EdgeHD 800 telescopes, as well as Meade SC and ACF 8" telescopes.
