• It can be placed below the support rings to mount your telescope onto a mount.

• It can be installed above the support rings to increase the overall mechanical rigidity of your telescope and to attach additional accessories, such as dovetail clamps with guide rings, for precise adjustment of a guide telescope.

• It can serve as a base for creating a side-by-side plate, enabling you to mount two telescopes in parallel on a single mount using two PLUS dovetail clamps.
