The new Pulsar Induction Charger is an excellent upgrade for the Pulsar Shutter Drive. The drive uses an internal Lithium Ion battery, which is typically charged by a solar charger mounted outside the observatory dome. The new induction charger offers greater efficiency and is mounted inside the dome on the rotation drive housing. You can easily access charging and battery information through the rotation drive control box, allowing you to monitor the status of your shutter battery at any time.
