With the PoleMaster, you simply attach the device to the front of the R.A. axis. Its highly sensitive camera captures the northern sky, detecting not only Polaris but also fainter nearby stars, allowing the software to calculate the true position of the North Celestial Pole.
On your computer screen, the PoleMaster software displays both the rotation center of the R.A. axis and the true north point. You adjust the mount until these points overlap, achieving precise polar alignment. This process can be completed in just a couple of minutes and provides an alignment accuracy of up to 30 arcseconds, making it much more efficient than traditional methods.
