This ED80Sf refractor uses premium FPL-53 glass and features a dual-speed focuser, providing sharp, color-free, high-contrast images. With its f/7.5 focal ratio and compact 22.4-inch tube, it is ideal for both visual observing and astrophotography on the go.
The Advanced Polaris equatorial mount is lightweight and user-friendly, making it suitable for both new and experienced astronomers who value portability and precision. It features an aluminum gearwheel with 144 teeth and dual-bearing worm shafts for smooth, accurate adjustments. The adjustable slipper clutch allows you to move the telescope freely and then fine-tune its position with rotary knobs, even when motors are installed. Polar alignment is easy with either a polar finder scope or a compass, and the mount is compatible with a wide range of accessories.
The APP-TL130 tripod is stable and portable, retracting to just 60 cm for easy transport and extending up to 130 cm for comfortable use. The tripod legs have retractable rubber covers to protect floors during indoor use and are compatible with other Vixen mounts.
