The Vixen SLV 2.5mm eyepiece is designed for maximum comfort during observation, providing a generous 20mm of eye relief even at this short focal length. High-quality lanthanum glass is used to minimize chromatic aberration, ensuring sharp and clear images. All air-to-glass surfaces are treated with multi-layer hard coatings to reduce reflections and ghosting, while optimizing light transmission. The lens edges are blackened to further improve contrast.

Screw-up eyecups make the eyepiece comfortable for spectacle wearers and help reduce stray light. The exceptional imaging quality of the SLV series also makes these eyepieces ideal for astrophotography with digital cameras.
