This optical flip mirror is a highly practical accessory that allows you to instantly switch the light path between two directions. With two sockets, you can mount an eyepiece and a digital camera at the same time, making it easy to switch between visual observation and astrophotography using eyepiece projection. The system is nearly parfocal depending on the eyepieces used, so minimal or no refocusing is needed when switching between devices. The flip mirror is equipped with a T2 male thread for attaching T-rings for SLR cameras.

Description

This optical flip mirror is a highly practical accessory that allows you to instantly switch the light path between two directions. With two sockets, you can mount an eyepiece and a digital camera at the same time, making it easy to switch between visual observation and astrophotography using eyepiece projection. The system is nearly parfocal depending on the eyepieces used, so minimal or no refocusing is needed when switching between devices. The flip mirror is equipped with a T2 male thread for attaching T-rings for SLR cameras. The telescope-side connection is made via a 50.8mm connector.

Important Note:
Flip mirrors are not suitable for use with Newtonian telescopes, as the focal point cannot be reached. However, they work well with refractors or catadioptric systems such as Schmidt-Cassegrain, ACF, or Maksutov telescopes.
