The Vixen Advanced Polaris APZ altazimuth mount is a premium mount designed to provide stability and precise tracking for your telescope. Part of Vixen’s Advanced Polaris series, this mount features a robust build and advanced engineering, making it suitable for both visual observation and astrophotography.

Smooth and Precise Movement:
The mount uses six bearings and large 58.4 mm diameter worm gears to ensure smooth, accurate adjustments when tracking celestial objects. The adjustable friction stop mechanism allows you to manually move the telescope by simply pushing the tube in the desired direction. Fine adjustments and tracking can be made easily using the control knobs, making the operation intuitive and user-friendly.

Modular Motorization:
A standout feature of this mount is its modular design. The friction stop mechanisms can be replaced with optional Advanced Polaris motor modules at any time. These motors are fully integrated, with power cables and batteries built into the mount, maintaining the convenience of the friction stop system even after motorization. When motorized, control is handled via the Star Book One hand control box (sold separately).

Stable and Lightweight:
The mount pairs well with the lightweight yet stable APP-TL130 tripod from Vixen (tripod not included).
