The MAGUS CBF12 Digital Camera is made for use with microscopes. It allows you to take photos, record videos, and display images on an external screen. The camera is ideal for brightfield microscopy using 4x and 10x flat-field objectives, as well as stereomicroscopes.

Sensor Details
This camera features an Aptina CMOS sensor with a light sensitivity of 8.4 ke−/lux.sec. To achieve the widest, distortion-free field of view, use an adapter with a magnification between 0.4x and 0.6x.

Photo and Video Capabilities
The 20MP sensor produces realistic, highly detailed images with a resolution of 5120x3840 pixels. At this resolution, video can be recorded at 20 frames per second. Reducing the resolution to 2560x1920 pixels increases the frame rate to 45 frames per second, resulting in smoother video—helpful for studying moving objects and fast processes or during presentations. Focusing the microscope is easy in all video modes.

Connection Interface
The camera connects to a computer via USB3.0, which provides data transfer speeds ten times faster than USB2.0. This ensures efficient workflow, making it suitable for professional labs, research, and educational use.

Software Functions
Included with the camera is a software CD. The software supports photography, video recording, live image display, and editing. Once calibrated, it enables both linear and angular measurements.

Installation Options
The camera can be mounted in an eyepiece tube (replacing the eyepiece) or in a trinocular tube. C-mount adapters and adapter rings for different mounting diameters must be purchased separately.
