This filter delivers a high signal-to-noise ratio and enhanced contrast, allowing you to capture finer details in faint OIII nebula structures.

The Antlia OIII 4.5nm EDGE filter provides 85% transmission at the 500.7 nm wavelength, maximizing your ability to detect even the faintest nebulae. Unlike conventional broadband narrowband filters, which suffer from transmission loss due to center wavelength shifts, the Antlia EDGE filters maintain high transmission levels. These filters are suitable for use with long focal length telescopes and fast optical systems, such as RASA setups. They are effective for systems with apertures as fast as f/3, with only minimal loss in emission signal due to blue shift.
