The Report 412 tripod comes with module insert 1, which is suitable for mounting heavy instruments. These instruments are placed on top and secured from below using a star knob.

The support surface has a diameter of 60 mm and is equipped with a spring-loaded 1/4" or 3/8" mounting screw.

A 37 cm shelf is included, serving both as a convenient storage space and for increased stability. The tripod is supplied with a spreader lock (spider), onto which the shelf is placed and fastened.

The lightweight head, made of magnesium, also serves as the base for 14 different module inserts. Module inserts can be swapped at any time using the special key provided. The cone fixing system ensures a secure and play-free connection between components.

Report Astro tripods are supplied without the stop system found in other Report photo tripods, which is used to set the leg spread angle at approximately 20°, 40°, 60°, 80°, and 100° using a wing lock.
