Description

Bresser, a traditional company, offers telescopes for ambitious beginners under the Messier brand, combining excellent performance with an attractive price. The Messier telescope systems are designed to be expandable and upgradable, making them useful well beyond the beginner stage.

The Messier NT-203/1200 features optics that enable observations previously out of reach in this price category. With its longer focal length and minimal obstruction, the NT-203/1200 delivers outstanding sharpness and contrast, particularly for planetary viewing. Details and structures on Jupiter’s surface appear breathtakingly clear.

This telescope is also well-suited for exploring distant galaxies, observing emission nebulae in the Milky Way, and viewing the remnants of exploded stars or the birthplaces of new ones. Its larger-than-average size allows users to marvel at the wonders of the universe.

A newly improved Hexafoc focuser is now included, offering a free aperture of 65 mm. For astrophotography, a fine focuser with a 1:10 reduction ratio can be added for even more precise adjustments.

Bresser EXOS-2 Mount
The EXOS-2 is a robust, precise mount with a high load capacity, supporting up to 13 kg for visual use and 10 kg for photography. Double radial ball bearings ensure accuracy, while the optimized right ascension axis minimizes play. The sturdy design makes it easy to begin astrophotography, and a two-axis motor control can be added.

  • Sturdy mount

  • Matching counterweight

  • Durable steel tripod with three legs

GoTo System for EXOS-2
The GoTo system makes it easy for beginners to find and track celestial objects. By pressing a button, the telescope automatically slews to and follows the selected planet, nebula, or galaxy. The database contains over 100,000 objects, making it possible to observe or photograph faint objects without lengthy searching.
