When you’re correctly aligned, the app signals that you are ready to observe.
This telescope uses patent-pending technology and a Lost in Space Algorithm (LISA), similar to those used in satellites, to determine the telescope’s exact position. Even in light-polluted urban areas, you’ll be able to spot planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus, as well as famous objects such as the Orion Nebula and double stars. Just place your phone in the StarSense dock, launch the app, and let it guide your exploration.
The Dobsonian design is known for its simplicity and quick assembly. The telescope comes in just two main parts, making it easy to set up and transport. This design also keeps costs lower compared to similar-sized equatorial telescopes. The included tabletop mount provides a stable base, perfect for home or portable use.
