The OPTIKA SZO Series is a compact and versatile Greenough stereo microscope system, offering a 6.7:1 zoom ratio and a generous 110 mm working distance. Designed for professional environments and laboratory use, this microscope enables the observation of samples without special preparation, producing exceptionally crisp and detailed 3D images.

Trinocular and binocular heads provide a wide 23 mm field of view, allowing for comfortable observation even during extended sessions. Trinocular heads support simultaneous viewing through the eyepieces and a camera, making them practical for documentation or digital sharing. The click-stop zoom mechanism, with 11 precise positions, ensures repeatable and accurate magnification settings for consistent inspections and measurements.

The Greenough optical system uses a V-shaped path, resulting in a slim and compact design while delivering true three-dimensional viewing. Both binocular and trinocular heads are inclined at 45° for ergonomic posture, minimizing fatigue during long hours of operation.

This head can be used with a wide range of stands, allowing for tailored microscope setups. Options are available for different illumination types (including incident, transmitted, cold light, and ring light) and special applications such as moving or heated stages. For specialized tasks like soldering or inspection of large samples, the long working distance is a significant advantage.
