Description

Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF Thermal Imaging with Rangefinder (50510)

The Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF is a thermal sighting camera that sets a new standard in design and functionality. Manufactured in Leica’s advanced factory in Portugal, this device features a compact, ergonomic design, intuitive button controls, and the world’s first fully-integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) for a thermal sight. The LRF can be activated directly on the device or via an optional remote control. The high-quality European LYNRED sensor and Leica Image Optimization (LIO™) software deliver images with impressive sharpness, contrast, and detail. No individual calibration is needed—the Calonox 2 Sight LRF is ready for use out of the box and can be easily swapped between rifles.

To mount the Calonox 2 Sight to a rifle scope, you need a suitable Rusan adapter for your scope and the Adapter Ring for Calonox 2 M43-M52x0.75.

Essentials

  • Manufactured in Leica’s factory in Portugal

  • Only premium thermal sighting camera with a fully-integrated laser rangefinder (up to 1,094 yards / 1,000 meters)

  • No additional rifle calibration needed; ready for use out of the box

  • Wide field of view with detailed, high-comfort imaging

  • Extremely simple operation with intuitive buttons

Integrated Laser Rangefinder
The fully-integrated laser rangefinder can be easily activated either on the device or with an optional remote control, which can be mounted for convenience.

High-Resolution Imaging
The LYNRED sensor and refined LIO™ software provide natural, sharp, and high-contrast images. Standard-sized objects (66.9 inches / 1.7 meters) can be detected up to 2,417 yards (2,210 meters), recognized at 842 yards (770 meters), and reliably identified at 427 yards (390 meters).

Easy Swap Between Rifles
Precision manufacturing ensures that the device stays centered, so it can be used on multiple rifles without recalibration. The point of impact remains consistent, even with repeated removal and remounting.

Lightweight and Compact
Compatible with most riflescopes, and especially compact when paired with the Leica Fortis 6 1.8-12x42i for night hunting. Mounting uses the M43x0.75 thread, available for most scopes.

Silent, Shutterless Operation
Unlike typical thermal cameras that recalibrate with an audible click and a frozen frame, the Calonox 2 operates silently and instantly without freezing the image.

Intuitive Mode Switching
A large, sturdy metal control ring makes it easy to switch between day and night modes. A latching magnetic switch keeps the device powered up during switchover, saving time.

Included: carrying bag, strap, charging cable, cleaning cloth, flip-cap cover, user manual.
