Nightforce CFS Spotting Scope Rail Accessory Platform (s-RAP) (A734)

The Spotting Scope Rail Accessory Platform (s-RAP) is an add-on for the Configurable Field Spotting Scope (CFS) 6-36x50mm F1. It enables the use of visual accessories such as thermal imaging devices and night vision. The s-RAP can be installed either in front of or behind the CFS 6-36x. It features a 20-slot M1913 Picatinny rail, providing a secure mounting point located 1.5 inches from the optical center. The integrated 1.5-inch dovetail base is about 6.5 inches long, allowing the entire CFS 6-36 system with accessories to be properly balanced on an Arca-Swiss compatible tripod.

Installation

To install the accessory cage, first remove the lens cap from the eyepiece. Slide the cage over the eyepiece with the horseshoe-shaped opening facing the objective lens. The cage should fit between the body tube and the integrated base.

Align the six holes at the bottom of the cage with the matching holes on the integrated base. Lightly secure a screw on each side to hold the cage in position. Insert the remaining screws into the other holes and tighten until they are flush with the base, but do not fully torque them yet. Once all screws are in place, gradually tighten them to 35 in-lb, following the correct sequence. If a torque driver is not available, use the supplied hex wrench and tighten each screw 1/8 turn past initial resistance.
