Description
The HPM 300 III is the updated version of the popular HPM 300 II student microscope, offering the same reliable features, price, and robust construction.
This monocular student microscope includes a four-position objective turret with achromatic lenses (4x, 10x, 40x, 60x) and a cross table with coaxial control knobs for precise movement. Coarse and fine focus adjustments are also coaxial and feature drive knobs on both sides, with stop protection for added durability.
The sturdy, all-metal frame features a large, stable tripod base and DIN optics with a tube length of 160 mm. The inclined monocular head uses a prism and can be rotated a full 360 degrees.
Lenses are achromatic:
4x (N.A. 0.10), 10x (N.A. 0.25), 40x (N.A. 0.65, with specimen protection), 60x (N.A. 0.85, with specimen protection).
Eyepiece is a 10x wide field.
Magnification ranges from 40x to 600x and can be expanded if needed.
The Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) is focusable and includes a built-in iris diaphragm. The stage measures 110 x 120 mm and is equipped with an integrated cross table and low-profile coaxial control knobs.
Lighting is provided by a powerful, continuously adjustable 3W LED for transmitted light. The microscope is also compatible with HPM 320 halogen 6V/20W lighting (continuously adjustable).
The package includes a dust cover and protective Styrofoam container.
