The set is specially optimized for use with ZW Optical’s ASI cameras. By combining exposures from the three color filters (red, green, blue) and the luminance filter (which also acts as an IR cut filter), you can create full-color images on your computer. Unlike using a color camera, this method utilizes the full resolution of your camera sensor for each color channel—just like professional astrophotographers.
