ZWO Filters 1.25" Duo band (63984)

The ZWO Duo-Band Filter is a dual narrowband filter designed especially for use with color ASI cameras. It is ideal for astronomers who already own a color camera and want to try narrowband imaging or capture emission nebulae, without needing to buy a monochrome camera, filter wheel, and multiple narrowband filters.

This filter provides an affordable way to explore narrowband imaging and is also a practical solution for astrophotography in light-polluted urban environments.

The Duo-Band filter allows light to pass at the Hα (656nm) and OIII (500nm) wavelengths, helping to reduce interference from natural sources such as moonlight or from artificial sources like street lighting. As a result, it increases the contrast and visibility of deep sky objects such as emission nebulae, even when using a color camera.
