Delta Optical DLT-Cam PRO series microscope cameras are designed to work with various microscope models. With included optical adapters, they can be used with microscopes that have eyepiece tubes or additional camera ports (third optical paths) with a 23.2 mm diameter. They can also fit into eyepiece tubes with 30 mm and 30.5 mm diameters. Each camera features a C-mount, ensuring compatibility with most microscopes on the market.

DLT-Cam PRO 8.3 MP USB 3.0 camera is distinguished by its very high sensitivity, making it an excellent tool for fluorescence, phase contrast, and other low-light imaging techniques. Its high sensitivity ensures much faster performance compared to other cameras with similar resolution, making it ideal for observing live or moving specimens such as microorganisms.

Sony Exmor sensors offer very low noise, allowing use not only in bright field observations but also in dark field, phase contrast, and fluorescence. Their high tonal dynamics make it possible to capture detail in both dark and bright areas that many other cameras cannot reproduce.

Color reproduction is of exceptionally high quality, comparable to CCD sensors, which have traditionally been considered superior to CMOS sensors in this respect.

Delta Optical DLT-Cam Viewer software (available in Polish) supports these cameras. It allows photo and video capture, offering extensive control over operating parameters. Users can adjust exposure (auto/manual), contrast, gamma, saturation, white and black balance (manual or automatic based on ROI), and limit the field of view. Additional functions include measurement tools with export to MS Excel, focus stacking, micropanorama creation (live or from stored images), HDR imaging, scale pattern insertion, digital filters, settings storage, independent resolution selection for live view and saved photos, live sharpening, lighting equalization, noise reduction, interval timer for timed captures, digital binning, and histogram display (with adjustable ranges, including separate RGB channels).

The USB 3.0 interface provides smooth, fast operation even in low-light conditions, making this a versatile tool for many microscopy applications.
