The Delta Optical Forest 8x42 Gen3 (SKU: DO-1305) represents the third generation of this renowned series of field binoculars, offering a perfect combination of durability, lightweight construction, and advanced optical performance. Designed for demanding users such as nature observers, travelers, and hunters, this model delivers outstanding image quality with full weather protection for use in any environment.
These binoculars are built with ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass, which significantly reduces chromatic aberration to provide sharp, high-contrast images with natural color reproduction across the entire field of view. The BaK4 roof prisms are enhanced with dielectric coatings and phase correction, ensuring excellent light transmission and precise color alignment. Additionally, FBMC (Fully Broadband Multi-Coated) anti-reflective coatings enhance brightness and clarity, even in low-light conditions such as dawn or dusk.
The body is made from a magnesium-aluminum alloy, which is both lightweight and extremely durable. It is waterproof, nitrogen-filled, and protected by a rubberized ergonomic coating that ensures a secure grip and resistance to impacts or harsh weather. A 1/4″ tripod mount is included for stable long-term observations. The Forest 8x42 Gen3 is designed to perform reliably in any field condition while maintaining comfort and precision.
