Description

The Fenix HP25R V2.0 is a professional headlamp with a redesigned body, delivering 1600 lumens, a beam range of up to 290 meters, and powered by a high-capacity 21700 battery with 5000 mAh.

Modular Design

The body is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, offering durability, efficient heat dissipation, and resistance to mechanical damage, corrosion, and harsh weather conditions. The headlamp features a modular structure consisting of a light module, an external battery container, and an elastic headband. The external power container includes an extended cable for comfortable mounting on helmets or headbands. Seven cable clips are included to ensure tidy, secure cable placement. A reflective panel on the battery container enhances visibility in low-light conditions.

Advantages of the External Battery Container

  • Provides balanced weight distribution, resulting in better stability and comfort

  • Allows battery charging during operation through the built-in USB-C port

Thanks to this design, the Fenix HP25R V2.0 performs well in caving, camping, night hiking, search and rescue work, and extended outdoor activity where long runtimes are essential.

Lighting for Many Applications

The main LED is a cool-white Luminus SST40 delivering up to 1600 lumens, capable of illuminating caves, forest walls, or slopes at distances up to 290 meters. A smooth reflector creates a focused beam with excellent throw. A tempered ultra-clear lens with anti-reflective coating maximizes light transmission.

In addition to the main emitter, the headlamp includes two more LEDs: a neutral-white Cree XP-G3 S4 and a red Everlight 2835 LED. The XP-G3 S4 produces warm light (3500 K) with CRI 75 for natural color rendering—ideal for close-range tasks, photography, and comfortable reading at night. Collimating lenses disperse the light into a wide and uniform flood beam, perfect for work lighting or campsite illumination. The beam angle can be adjusted up to 60° by tilting the light module.

USB-C Charging Port

The HP25R V2.0 is powered by a 21700 Fenix ARB-L21-5000 battery (included) and can also operate with a standard 18650 battery if needed. On a full charge, runtime reaches up to 800 hours in flashing red mode (5 lumens) or 2 hours in turbo mode (1600 lumens). Runtime can be extended further using a power bank connected to the USB-C port. The 2 A charging current allows full charging in about 4 hours, and the battery does not need to be removed from the headlamp.

Simple and Convenient Operation

Two large top-mounted switches provide easy control, even with gloves. The right switch controls the focused white light, while the left switch controls flood and red light.

Focused Beam Modes (right button)

  • Turbo: 1600 lm – for exploring caves or distant terrain

  • High: 1000 lm – ideal for running and night hiking

  • Medium: 400 lm – balanced brightness and runtime

  • Low: 150 lm – long-lasting light for extended activity

  • Eco: 50 lm – maximum endurance

Flood Beam Modes (left button)

  • High: 400 lm – suitable for work and camping

  • Medium: 150 lm – efficient general lighting

  • Low: 5 lm – long-lasting minimal illumination

Red Light Modes

  • Low: 5 lm – discreet night vision–friendly light

  • Flashing: 5 lm – signaling and emergency use

Comfortable Headband

A wide elastic band wicks moisture and ensures comfortable wear. A stabilizing strap and mounting clips allow secure placement on helmets or headgear.

Advanced Safety Features

The HP25R V2.0 includes reverse polarity protection, overheating protection, and a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation. The IP66 rating ensures resistance to dust, heavy rain, and brief water exposure, making the headlamp suitable for all weather conditions.

Performance values were obtained under laboratory conditions using the Fenix ARB-L21-5000 battery.
